Women Abuse
This 3.5 ft x 3.5 ft acrylic on canvas painting highlights the problem of women abuse which still exists in every strata of society. The embossed footprints show how men trample over women at home, at work or just for pleasure. The footprints are embossed across the entire canvas except for the face which shows how women are strong willed and they will not give up and will try their best to fight and erase these footprints. Women shouldn't keep quiet and should do everything in their capacity to show men how strong and self-independent they can be. There are such victims everywhere, she could be your teacher, maid, cook, friend or even your mother. I took inspiration for this painting from a case of domestic violence of a woman who I know very well. It is the time to stand strong and not give in since we are no lesser than men.
